Hi Friends!
A very, very brief note today. A friend of mine from back home has been working on a new website, carrying it from concept through (successful!) Kickstarter to launch. The site went live today.
It’s called Shift News, and it’s a contributor-fed resource for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer-community news, commentary, and opinion. It’s based in and somewhat focused on Maine, but I wrote a piece for the launch giving some international perspective on full equality for gays and lesbians. How’s America doing on issues like marriage equality and adoption rights compared to the rest of the world?
Anyway, you can find the site by clicking here. Give it a look and see what you think. I’m proud to have been a part of it so far and can’t wait to see where it goes in the future.
That’s all for now. We will return soon to our regularly scheduled Palawan-recap programming!

Cool site! Thanks Steve!
